Iveco van flanked by 4 police vehicles on blue lights

just wondered if anyone knew what this is, was travelling on the M25 the other day clockwise towards the M1 slip and saw a white iveco van with blacked out windows, flashing blue lights in the grill being flanked (escorted) by 4 police vehicles also on blue lights, one behind one in front straddling the lanes and two alongside, was just curious as to what this was as I have never seen it before?

Could be the brother of the Manchester bomber. He is in court at the moment.

no hes not, he refused to leave his cell to attend his sentencing hearing…

which hopefully will mean he gets a way harsher sentence…

Was it the new 70 plate straight out of the factory? :stuck_out_tongue:

They had a driver in the back who had been found to have done 4.31 before taking a break. You have to rush such dangerous criminals away to face immediate justice. Probably took a quick pit stop at a car wash manned by our recently arrived brown fellow citizens to have the windows cleaned on the way to the nearest max security unit.

It’s ok they they were only delivering me.my pay packet

I saw a similar convoy Southbound on the A1 on Tuesday near Wetherby, I think.

55 years seems reasonably harsh :stuck_out_tongue:

Plenty polis on here. Sure they will post up exactly what it was soon enough.

It was probably an HGV driver for a high flying company being done for overspeed or as said above someone whos went 1 minute over there driving hours on card and not taken a manual printout to explain why he dodnt park on hard shoulder 200 yards from sliproad instead.

Could’ve been a Yorkshireman being escorted to the bar to get the beers in failing that it could be the weekly money run up to Leeds

When I worked in Durham City would often see a prisoner convoy going from one of the prisons there to Crown Court at Newcastle. They would always use the A167 not the A1. Usually a meat van with a police car front and rear and a motor cycle patrol at the very front and rear. The lead motor cycle would stop traffic at roundabouts and junctions then the rear cycle would wave the traffic on when the convoy had passed. The cars would often have 2/3 officers in as well as the driver and on most occasions guns were present.

Tyneside

Latest odds are in…

33/1. Rob being “escorted” home after being caught breaching his restraining order near the This Morning set

20/1. Beaver, strapped up Hannibal style on his way to a parole meeting with the mods

9/1. Carryfast being taken as far away and as quickly as possible from the Internet

Evens. A steak dinner on plate, wrapped in foil on its way to a lay-by …somewhere…

55 years, I hope he gets beaten to a pulp every single day and dies on the last day of that 55 years. I can’t be only one who thinks it’s a f**king disgrace he got away with not attending his trial. But also shows how pathetic spineless and weak he is. Weak scum

55 years before being eligible for parole. chances are with more than 20 life sentences in the bag, he’ll never swing a parole hearing…

^^^ Wow! I do like the new no holds barred Luke! I don’t disagree btw. Any cowardly scum that deliberately targets children deserves a special place in Hell. I’d at least have a grudging respect of these animals if they’d actually go toe to toe with soldiers.

 Glad you approve! That particular post came from reading the impact statements the families made to the court yesterday and it making me cry. I am an easy going and kind chap in general but I hope that scumbag serves every last day of his hopefully long life locked up and in pain
