whilst i think thats a awesome idea my boss wont agree even if he is reasonable person

Thats the only way. I even tried a digital radio in ours and that was worse, no signal at all. Get used to the silence…
Anyway, it leaves your ears free to hear for the sound of impending doom when it breaks down.

no such thing as silence in a iveco  but seriosuly im bored of hearing static and the thoughts in my head

Buy some CD listen to them .

Check the aerial is plugged in, if not you probably need an aerial amplifier

Unplug any thing in cigi socket as some chargers kill radio signals

Get a Renault midlum   when I worked at currys I could still pick wave 105 up in Warminster
Even my 2008 TGM man has a better radio than an Icrappo

We have two Stralis vehicles, neither of the radios can receive very well. I have a hell of a time trying to keep Radio 4 tuned while my counterparts vehicle struggles to even get an FM station!

Mm, it’s a common problem on this radio, you need to change the radio’s lorry. Swap the Iveco holder it comes in for, well, anything else. Try eBay.

It’s only a van anyway, surprised you can take in music before you get the hundred yards to your next drop anyway.

Lol wish it was like that but it’s not usually have 15 minutes between each drop sometimes lot longer

Both our rigid DAF’s have blaupunkt CD players in them and the reception is crap. No aux plug for an iPod either. I ended up buying a rechargeable iPod dock. Little portable thing. Takes about 2 hours to charge on mains electric, lasts for 9-10 hours.

Just got fed up of having to retune my iPod fm transmitter gizmo every half an hour.

Wow, that looks incredibly simple! I’m out in the truck for 3 weeks but if I’m near a halfords I might pop in and see if they have the keys and cable for sale. Would give me something to do during a 45 hour break anyway!

got the aux cable from ebay would the crap blaupunkt unit have a radio code ? better ask before i remove it
