Iveco draughty doors?

Are all Iveco’s built with a draughty drivers door[emoji49]
I’m driving the works 63plt puddle jumper and a gale blows through it
I’ve also driven older ones and they’re the same with built in water fall as well

my drivers door is little bit drafty and drops of rain drip down from top of door build quality isnt great on iveco sayin that mine faired well in my accident today

Thats enough about yourself, what is your motor like?

Been in a 10 plate Stralis today, with inbuilt shower system.

Ken.

A few years ago i had the “pleasure” of driving a strallis. After complaining to the dealership about the drivers door the fitter came out of the workshop with a big bit of wood that he jammed in the bottom of the door while forcing the top to shut. It was fine after that but a bit painful to watch.

Yep some of our 64-reg 18 tonners are bad for it. I think it’s because the door has been sprained from opening in strong winds. The freezing cold right foot is not pleasant at all at this time of the year, especially as the foot heater vent is on the left side. Several of them suffer from the crappy top door rubber too so the rain collects above it and when you change gradient it runs out the end in a deluge all over right leg  .

The previous gen ones were just as bad, except the water came in via the sun roof seal, ran down the back of cupboards and then flowed out of the tachograph tray :open_mouth: all over the dashboard and steering wheel as you’re trying to drive.

I think the main problem is that under the new plastic tartie bits it’s still the same cab as introduced in1991 thus not curing the fault

not just trucks - my insignia lets in that much wind I have to check my little one hasn’t wound the window down.
