If it’s a fulltime job then I’d say go for it - can’t harm although I suspect the “but its roughly those times” might turn out to be “not remotely close to…” however nice they appear at the interview. Going to the same places defo helps however as you get to figure out shortcuts and people will trust you and not want to check everything is there to the n’th degree.
Btw, if you do find a food service company who aren’t taking the yellow stuff out of you when you’re on salary (different on hourly), keep it to yourself as everyone and his dog will want your job!
