That is I’ve passed my class C+E today at Orgreave in Sheffield with 2 minor marks. One for gears, the lever jammed in between changes (down to me, nerves) and I took a shunt on the reverse after I was convinced I had cocked it up.
Thanks. I already have a job mate on the rigids (been there almost 2 years now) I won’t chase after jobs just yet though. Obviously if one comes up and it’s right for me I’ll go for it.

Now the REAL learning will begin!
Cheers
Wooohooo! Well done Paul! In fact,I am so envious of you.
I’ve yet to do it,Class2 for now
I reckon I was very lucky on the day, traffic very light and no idiots about to ■■■■ it all up for me.
The examiner (Trish) was very good at putting me at ease, I hate tests and get very nervous. That’s why I got 1 minor for the reverse due to the nerves. Somehow the trailer ended up almost pointing towards the fence, and nowhere near where it was supposed to be! The instructor reckoned it was a good position and he said afterwards that he was confident I could have sorted it. But, it was chucking it down with rain and I couldn’t see that well through the mirrors. Hence the shunt and 1 minor mark, playing it safe on my part.
The rest of the drive was uneventful and straight forward and I pleased I don’t have to take it again!
