I don’t think it sounds to good to be true, It’s about average.
You can do the job as a ltd company and charge vat though, so that’ll make it a bit more tempting.
Straight from the HMRC website:
If you are in the UK and the place of supply of your service is in another EU country, the supply is outside the scope of UK VAT. However, for some supplies, you may need to register and account for local VAT in the country of supply. You will need to check with the tax authority in that country to find out how to treat the services you are supplying.
Exactly. Invoice them from a UK limited company and you won’t be able to charge them VAT…ask your accountant. Oh that’s right Phil, you know more then they do and don’t need one.
good luck ravonali,
if your out of work then you’ve got nothing to lose, but I wouldn’t be throwing a job in to work for limeyphil,
just read his other posts of how good the jobs are he’s had .

He’s famous!!! I won’t be working for him, it’s gist. No job for now hope to get a start soon.
Hi,I’ve been offered a job, that might,or might not exist, don’t know if its starting, exactly, but I thought I’d come on the internet and ask people’s advice, people I don’t know or even know if their qualified to offer said advice, if I should take it,but I don’t really want advice,if I don’t like what you post I’l dismiss it out of hand, because I know better, which is why I posted on here in the first place,oh yeah did I mention,‘I’ve been offered a job’?
Take it,or don’t take it

I should imagine that you will get the full set (except the Dutch). Look out for the first ‘geezer’ in a Mascot jacket with a long defunct ferry trailer logo, white socks and a ponytail and you’ll know for sure you’re on to a frikkin winner.
'I were on a grand a week at HST don’t you know… ’
Zzzz

You know so much about this, why won’t a UK ltd company charge vat to another UK ltd company.
When i work for a UK company, but happen to be working abroad, Does this mean i don’t pay tax and ni back home? No it dosn’t, So why the comment about VAT?
who would you be charging the vat from then? the dutch employer? do you have a ltd company in the netherlands then?

The employer is a British firm that has several depots in Europe. So all my accounting will be done in the UK.
I think this is why i can only do a maximum of six months away.
