Hi simonbee,

I see that you’ve met Phil.

Sometimes, Phil contributes a wind-up post and sometimes some people bite to it.

Well if it does, 6weeks away from home, wife and kids for £600 a week… Always got the feeling from phillip that he doesnt let people mug him off…

if you read other (billy the bull shi**er) limeyphil posts then you will see this bloke has either worked or been offered work at every company on this planet,
he’s one of many drivers that sits in the rdc centre spouting crap
he makes me smile every time he posts some new crap.
keep up the good work phil

If I commented to my wife that I thought she was tidy and did her job, I’d get a fat lip.

Lol I’d get a suitcase full off clothes and a tenner for a taxi to get the [zb] away from here you have it easy lol (I am however obviously the head off my household)?

Job sounds great tho I’d like an adventure like that and money’s not bad however I feel the same as you said I like having Karl on my truck not 657. Good luck if you go for it.

It does exist. and they need more drivers.
They will be contacting me in the last week of March to confirm the start date.
So if anyone is interested they can email me at:
Phil@pgreen8.orangehome.co.uk

and yes i have done a few very obvious wind ups in the past, but this isn’t one of them.

600net p/w? Really?

Yes. Not great, but certainly not the worst.

anyway phil I thought you had the dogs ■■■■■■■■ of a job working for nolans ,
wasn’t that long ago you was saying how good that was and you was getting full pay while you sat at home nursing your wife ,
so what happened there?
next thing you will be saying is that he was offered the husband and wife team going to mars .

Hi Phil.If this is a true offer. Not wishing to appear rude or sceptical WHY would they offer you the job when ,by my reckoning there must be numerous Dutch drivers also willing to do this work. This is without bringing all the ‘‘exotic’’ drivers into the equation.
I have just had a quick trip down to Danmark from Gällivare and was surprised by the increased number of so called ‘‘specialist transport’’ companies from Holland running up here who i went to chat with[to keep up with my language skills] who had drivers with no grasp of Dutch being of the ‘‘exotic’’ variety.

limeyphil:
On face value it looks like a fairly decent job.
£600 per week after tax. All legal. Working from Holland to Germany and Scandinavia.
You don’t drive in the UK, It’s all continental.

I’m tempted, but i can’t make my mind up.

Go for it. Nobody in the UK is going to want to employ people with your attitude any more other than companies that run sheds and like drivers who run bent.

he s running a firm now and has drivers working for him, which i think should answer his question really.

Kerbdog:

I thought you was running a firm with drivers etc? :unamused: :unamused:

I am. :unamused:

Well if you ain’t clearing more than £600/week after tax doing that I’d jack it in…you’re obviously no good at it or your accountant is useless.

So, Because i run a business i can’t work as a lorry driver? I like driving.
And my business clears more than £600 per week. An accountant has no bearing on what i make.

Limey, is the job with Euresco out of Uithorn, near Shcipol airport, he used to run to North Africa and other places.
