Police in Calais have arrested more than 40 migrants who climbed aboard a ferry which had arrived at the port from Dover, while another 11 migrants have been detained at a lorry park in Ashford
Surely it should get better once we leave the EU and take back control?

Once out of the EU it is much easier for us to stick them straight back on the ferry/plane/eurotunnel train they came on and force the carrier to return them back to France.
It does say they arrived in Calais on a ferry from Dover so they definitely dont want sending back… As for the lot in ashford, are we sure they wernt just waberer drivers■■?

I’ve had enough of driving and starting a new job tomorrow as a hgv fitter. Everyone wants to pay you less to take on more reaponsibility and the road network is a joke.

We’ve been able to do that all along. It’s the UK government’s of past and present who have. chosen not to.

It was merely a ferry that had come from Dover and docked in Calais, then the immigrants climbed aboard…delays caused while they rounded them up, as for those in Ashford, probably nice and warm in the uk now until their giro`s are produced, whilst our own are sleeping on the streets including ex servicemen.
Obviously the poor ferry captain will face an awful lot of fines for that lot. Oh, hang on a minute…
According to French news the 68 detained people ‘managed’ to get access into the port via a personnel entrance from where they got onto/into the ferry including climbing up the funnels .
All were rounded up and are now nice, safe and warm in custody with two in hospital after falling into the yucky Calais sea.
The French in Calais are hiring a ship and sending all the migrants to Dover to be sorted out so the problem and H&S risk assessment is adhered to. After Brexit all immigrants wanting to go to the UK will be waived through, and all the fencing in Calais will be returned to the UK. Simples.

Apart from the Le Touqet agreement which I believe has not long been renewed and is a bi-lateral agreement between UK and France (not the EU) regarding border strategy.
Here’s a thought maybe the French could do something about their porous borders or perhaps have a coherent removal policy instead of just giving them a bed in a cell for the night and letting them go in the morning

Here’s a better thought, simply stop the gravy train incentive that this ■■■■ ed up country has, that makes them strive to pass through so many countries to get here.
If they arrive here give them ■■■■ all, and ship them back, that way they wouldn’t bother, and it would also help towards solving the terrorist problem.
