well beforei started my training i sent some emails out to companys to get a feel for the job market i got a few emails back saying thanks but 2 years… And all that but one company saw i was keen and told me to contact him when i had passed which i did last night and he emailed me back telling me to ring and talk to someone telling them he told me to ring and set up a interview… Its in reading so about 35miles but its a start hopfully but they have a place in basingstoke aswell.
Not going to say who it is in case i jinx it…

Oh look, there’s my taxi. 
Im in Andover. well i got the job in reading starting off on 12t moving up when they are happy with me. But it would cost me near on 200 pound a month on fuel so i dont know what to do.
Gunna try and see where i work at the co op if they will take me on.

Yeah it really is, ill work something out i just cant wait to get in the cab and drive.
How downtons working out dean? We had a few in today at co op i wondered if one was you.
Nothing down that way mate. All midlands and Bristol so far.
It’s working out great. Lots of reversing practice which all goes towards that professionalism and experience that employers crave.
No idea yet if it’s going any further than the end of hi week as I can only afford (fuel wise) to stay out all week. It’s a 25 quid daily return otherwise in fuel.
Hoping that plenty more work comes my way though as I’m really enjoying it.

Go with whichever option feels best for you. But don’t let the opportunities slip through your fingers. You only have to read some of the posts on here to see how dire things are and people will jump at the chance of what you are being offered
