one of our drivers got off the boat in Civitavecchia sunday night for a monday tip in Napoli but apparently he’s still stuck on the autostrada on the way to Napoli in a strike 
does anybod know anything? is it all over Italy or just regional?
my mate has loaded turin today he said they are blocking a few of the peages but hes getting around been playing up since monday…
Heard on the German News today, a German driver had runover one of the pickets and killed him.
Had a lad Yesterday sat in a Motorway rest area in Turino all day because of the blockades. Today used the Nationals to go from Turino, Piacenza, Bologna & Cesena with no problems what so ever.
Had a couple of my trucks delayed loading out of Piacenza today.
Been told its something to do with taxi drivers but not sure why or what for, they have been blocking the toll booths all over Italy.
As regards the accident in Asti , where a Italian striker was killed
it was posted that , the person had tried to talk to the driver of the truck and had jumped on the steps and was hanging on to the mirror arm , where he fell and came under the wheels of the truck, the driver of the truck was taken into custody and it was being treated as a traffic accident, the person who died was also a member of one of the local transport company’s , that is all at present,.,. Also in Parma it was tried also to stop a truck here and the striker in question received light injury’s this time , and was taken to the local hospital for treatment,
