Italy driving ban this weekend

Hubby is currently in Italy trying to get back home, through Mont Blanc and France.

Please can anyone tell me what driving bans are on this weekend in Italy and France?

frejus is less likely to have a closure. and he should be ok if he has a fridge.

not 100%. but the italian police are prety easy going. you can get a calender with the closures, but they arn’t always correct. i was caught out about 2 weeks ago. the calender said the ban was at the french side, so i went towards the monte blanc from italy. it was bloody shut.
if he gets caught out in france, it’s only 35 euros now.
