Coming down the slip s/bound at Scotch Corner this morning, one of Eddie’s finest, with a flat trailer loaded with concrete beams, was up to the hubs in mud, he had either pulled in not realising the verge was as soft as ■■■■, or had been forced in there.
Full wrecker/Police in attendance job anyway, looked expensive, not good for Bert and Ernie’s pr machine.
Could happen to anybody granted, bad luck and all that, but if the co. are putting across the image that they are the elite/cut above, they are going to get flak when things go ■■■■ up…but apart from that I lurrve taking the ■■■■ out of them, sorry I know it’s childish, I am not big and I am not clever. …off to the naughty step.
It’s the same with any company that think they are ‘elite/cut above’…they only reach that status when they employ ‘elite/cut above’ drivers and treat them as such, otherwise they ain’t much better than many others

No not me , started this morning ( tues- sat) so if I was going that way I would of been going north , they’ve got 5 trucks based at Carlisle so could of been one of them rob , or they’ve got trucks at rugby , nwk, Dagenham so could of been one of them pulling a load down from uddington ,
Do you mean the slip off of r/o at scotch corner down onto a1 s/b ?, hasn’t that slip got road works on it ?, coned down to one lane ? , can’t see how you could be forced off road there .
I’ll see what I can find out
Nb i might make the news tomorrow as this thing I’ve got on just looks like it’s going to fall off , and I’ve got chains and 16 x 5 t straps on it
I don’t bother much on here in daytime unless I’m stuck on a site , I’ve never been one for zb around , tramping or not the faster I can get done and parked up the better , wish the planner saw it that way , never stopped today and did 5.30 - 20.30 , ■■■■ just adds more and more .
12 hrs is more than enough for me tramping or not

couldn’t happen to a nicer firm in my own having been on the end of the green undercutting machine.
pity for the driver mind.
the driver will probably get the push
I doubt it , I know one who clouted a bridge , said he thought it would go and he’s still employed , just stuck him on job where the tri sizes hardly vary .
There was a stobart truck parked up with his curtains drawn yesterday daytime in East Kilbride, near the Burn Stewart whiskey place. He was parked across a disused gate on a main road. He obviously had to do a bit of parallel parking to get into the space, but he made some mess of the grass to the front and rear of his truck in the process. Obviously it was him cos his tyres were covered in mud. East Kilbride has plenty of spaces to park a truck so why he chose to park where he did, and destroy the grass in the process kind of baffled me.

You’ve answered you question there , it’s a stobarts truck , but the driver isn’t a stobarts driver , he’s a driver , next week he could be a xyz driver , some give a ■■■■ , some don’t , whoever they drive for wont change them,
Can I suggest that as you’re all taking such a keen interest in dozy that you all pay £3 and put the stobart app on you’re phone , this week I’m piloting mhaira ( where does that name come from) Amber , h2264 , po15 unn, with that app you could watch me and if there’s a incident in the area , building hit etc you could put 2+2 together and come up with 4 , I’ll have to be on my best behaviour now
