Is anyone using a system called Zig Zag??

I was talking to another driver who works for same company I do, he’s from another DC & he had this new system installed in his unit, he didn’t know much about it, just told me bits n pieces, when it’s fully operational it’s supposed to lock/unlock unit, will replace the keys for the unit, as well as contain delivery/collection info, it’s a hand held PDA

It’ll be replacing the microlise system we currently have, basically what I’m trying to find out is what it does, ie, what info does it give the office when it comes to keeping an eye on you?

Quite a lot.

Of course drivers never lose keys, snap them off in the lock, take them home…?

So how do you unlock it when you are on the outside the vehicle.

I work for a supermarket, as far as I know it has the store delivery info on it, no idea how it would work doing RDC delivery work.

The Zig Zag system must be connected to the vehicle & has a lock & unlock option on the PDA, none of that was activated when I seen the driver using the system but it was on the PDA.
