Can you get a job as a newbie? Yes you can!

I know i have been lucky. No doubt about that, but it can happen!!

Passed my test less than 10 days ago and start full time job Monday. Supposed to start with agency Monday also but obviously wont be now. Had 2 other offers ( not full time or permanent i may add )

How did i manage it being a newbie?

Reason 1? I got lucky ? Sure, i can accept that but i will tell you one thing, all i have done since i passed test is contact companies, register with agencies, apply for everything and anything. I have sat on laptop near enough 24 hours a day with a bit of sleep chucked in there for good measure.

Reason 2? I didnt want to work for agencies and have seen myself applying for jobs at 3 in the morning, 5 in the morning etc etc when most sensible folk are asleep

Yes! I got lucky! No doubt about it, but it just goes to show if you want it bad enough and are in the right place at the right time anything is possible :wink:

You ain’t wrong! There have been a few Newbies on here that have found this out… :cry:
I hope the OP isn’t one of em! :smiley:

But even if they are, it’s not a complete loss as it’s the first step on the ladder towards better gigs…

It aint the best job in the world tbh but its a start and its a job

To be fair to alot of others on here, when i first started posting and asked for advice it was given and appreciated so fair play to them :wink:
