How about this gem?
Socketset:
Disco Street:
We run 2 of these. This is mine it’s a 7.5t and a 3.5t trailer.
Best thing I can advise is with weights. Mines weighs with me and some basic kit 4.1t so that’s left with 3.4t payload my max safe on the top is 1.5t and bottom is 2t.
The trailer weights 800kg so I can have 2.7t which is a discovery from 2004 to current as there the heaviest car on the market.
Was weighed recently by DVSA (didn’t have the trailer) had a newish golf on top at 1.3 - 1.4t and a 3 series bmw on the bottom at 1.6 - 1.7t. Came in at 6.9t nearly 7t actually.
I’ll leave it at that for now as I can go on and on as Iv spent the best part of 3 years researching vehicle weights so I can stay legal, feel free to ask any queries I’m more than happy to help.
Looks very nice - but what about hills or accidentally parking on some chewing gum - hope it goes a lot better than our Canter. That ■■■■ thing has got to be the most hateful vehicle I have ever had the misfortune to climb into.
anything is better than a cantor bloody death traps
Thanks for all of the help again - I am now going to wait a 2 months and try and take in all of the info. Looking like I will go for a bigger machine DAF 45 as I have spent far too much time pushing car trailers with van’s and want something that has power and stability.
How often will you be using it?
