Coming back from Perugia last Saturday morning, get’s stopped by the autostrada police, disco he say’s etc etc, 70 k’s he say’s to me , and i had been doing 84 k’s along a duel carriage way, yes i know the speed limit is 80 for truck’s in Italy. Show’s me 148 euro fine in his little book, for speeding 10 to 40 k’s over the speed limit . He then tell’s me the fine is double for long vehicle’s, but he can’t show me this in his book. Well i ain’t going anywhere till i pay so i pay, He then staple’s my disc to his paperwork and say’s he is keeping it, and that i should make a new one out from where he stopped me, i tell the little sob he can’t do that , but there is no reasoning with him, a compromise is reached where he will go to the police station and give me a photo copy, i then filled in a new card adding the bit of duty i had done already on the back of the card
Of course it isn’t right and you bloody know it!!!
Not much i could do about it, the cheeky git said to me if it was France they would park me up for 24 hour’s, for hour’s offenses yes not for speeding , all i want to know is , is there anyway this can be checked out. I was stopped at the check in running up to the Blanc and the French went through every disc for 28 day’s and there was no problem with disc’s

Me and you both. Sounds like a fun time could have been had, what a wasted opportunity. 
Lot of thing’s i should have done or could have done , could have give my digi card he may not have been able to check it, he was an inspector , so if i had gone back to the cop shop they just would have backed him up, I was more ■■■■■■ off he kept my disc.
I just pay the fine and put it down as Expenses.
