Is this possible ?

Say you start your shift at 0900 and drive for 3 hours. And at 1200 you take a 9 hour rest. Can you then go and drive a full 9/10 hours? Or would you only have 6/7 hours left remaining ?.

Not sure if i explained that well enough but basically what im saying is if i start and drive for 3hours then have daily rest of 9/11 hours. Am i then entitled(allowed) to drive another 9/10 hours?.

YES. A rest of 11 hours or 9 if you have a reduction available would reset the clock.

Cant see why not as you’ve had a reduced daily rest that resets the clock

A new 9/10 hour daily driving period starts when you start driving after a daily rest period, so the answer is if you have a reduced daily rest period available you can start a new 9/10 hour daily driving period after nine hours rest.

Or put another way, yes after nine hours rest you can drive for another 9/10 hours.
