Is this legal?

Hi, is the following legal? Many thanks

For two drivers to start a shift at, say 20.00, then to take 2 hour or so shifts at driving/sleeping in the bunk (lorry never stops moving except when both drivers are working at a drop), for about 17 - 20 hours a shift.
Cheers

Yes as you can have a break in a moving vehicle, but not a daily rest. So when your not driving your on break. Rather you than me though!

I believe you can do a 21 hour shift

Same here the idea of double manning doesn’t sound good to me

21 hour shift and 9 off double manning. I think it works on a 30hour day so after you’ve used your reduced rests you then work 19hours and 11 off, but would have to get someone to confirm that.

the 9 hours off counts as a full daily rest when multi-manning

:open_mouth:, no need to run bent when double manning then.
