im doing the night trunk tonight,started at 18.30pm and should finish at 7am tommorow. My boss wants me to go away tommorow night at 5pm. As long as i have 9 hours off this is legal? I think it is but just want to make sure! Thanks in advance.
Yep, 7am to 5pm = 10 hrs off defo legal, just hope you don`t have a long drive to get into and home from work… just cuts into your sleep else

WTD hours though come into it. If the workforce agreement isn’t in place then no more than 10 hours WORKING time can be worked. (Does not include breaks or poa.)
Yes legal, though if you don’t have a 10hour opt out and you worked exactly 10hours you can’t start work until 6.30pm the next day. Rule is no more than 10hours work in any 24hour period (starting when the shift started). If you worked 9.5hours you could start at 5pm but you couldn’t do any more than 30minutes of work until you hit 6.30pm when the 24hour period ends.

It’s legal but i can’t see the point in going home.
Tell the boss to buy you breakfast, pay you another £100.00 plus overnight money. Then start again at 0730
