Good find. I’d say they’re not a broker. It looks quite self explanitory to me, they’re a lead generator. They’ll sell their leads to anyone who wats to buy them (probably a broker), they have RHA/FTA membership ?
Has anyone else looked into this via email to the site hosting the add or the accredited bodies ?

Surely their approach contravenes the Data Protection Act?

It doesn’t contravene the Data Protection Act - as you’re giving your contact details by choice and requesting to be contacted. Also, as it’s clear it’s a marketing company placing the advert, they have the right to pass your details as per the terms of jobsite.co.uk

Lead generation is big business - and all 100% legal.

Where is it clear that they’re a marketing company in the Jobsite ad?

I thought they were at best a broker scam, not until I did some digging did I find out they simply collect leads & sell them on.

Do you know enough about the DPA to be confident that they aren’t in contravention?

I think you will find these lead harvesters will sell the enquiries onto brokers, so they are a broker using another name. Simon B, are you still working for a broker? You would certainly know about how these lead harvesters work, as you have descibed in previous posts. Are you back working for Gary B now■■?

I’ve got a few folk interested in looking deeper into this Co’ from a privacy rights campaign forum. The adverts on Jobsite & numerous others are definitely breaking 3 laws. We’re trying to follow the whole process as far as we can & collect enough to hopefully shut down the scumbags.

Me old man taught me to follow my intuitions, if you smell a rat then there’s always a rat nearby, & I smell rats.
