Is this an actual truck?

I’m having some promo stuff made up and I’ve been sent this sample to choose colours from. What I’m wondering is if this is an actual truck or just a stylised representation of one? To me it has maybe a touch of Iveco about it?

Any ideas?

looks like a Stralis

It is.

Driven enough of the bloody awful things to know one when I see one.

Ken.

The steeper windscreen rake is from a later 2007 onwards facelift Stralis but the exhaust silencer guard is from the earlier model. It’s this lack of attention to detail that annoys me. :stuck_out_tongue:

And someone’s stolen the catwalk steps as well.

Errrr no, it’s a ruler

It has the suggestion of a Rainbow about it…Is it for gay truckers?

Considering these were £70k new it very much looks like the electric eco-[zb] lorry fad has passed until the next left-wing London Mayor or Government.

Will nobody think of the polar bears.

Or folk who’ve changed far too many Iveco Stralis exhausts with their crappy plastic silencer covers.

This is surely not a serious post is it? Promo gear wtf your a starting out owner operator why waste money on tat? & why in gods name would people want rulers off You or are You hoping to entice carpenters to load Your tractor unit.

My tip is Mr Monk put Your promo gear idea to one side & go & buy a flat trailer because trust Me there is’nt a shilling to be had in pulling anybody elses & like I’ve told You repeatedly if it fits in a trailer it aint worth a carrot.

One 40ft flat & never stray outside of the home counties & You could even make a profit.

Theres no charge for My services here its a freebie, oh & send Me a ruler as I use them filling out log sheets

Harry, are Gregorys going to let you have an image of their trailer on your ruler

hmm very iveco , keep a hold of it harry be interesting to see how long it takes a plastic ruler to rust

as for promotional effort why not sponsor one of the trophies at the neww wessex truck show

Hi everyone , only 5 or 6 trophy categories left now available for sponsorship . If you would like to sponsor a class and have your company name engraved on the winners trophy and printed in the show programme , get in touch or email dc.wessextruckshow@gmail.com cheers .

Yes Harry. Know your place. How very dare you try to better yourself.
Not sure what exhibition companies will think of you turning up with a flat mind.

One thing I’ve found- and I was told that this would happen before I started- is that if you run a business, everybody knows more about how you should be doing it than you do.

I’m already making and taking enquiries about promo work and having done a great deal of that in the past I know that little freebies, pens, notepads etc can have an impact. Even if a truck-shaped ruler is tat, people are more likely to put it in a drawer and keep it, rather than just losing it like a business card (I do have those too).

So if I spend just over £100 having 250 of these made up with my name and phone number on them and give them away as and when, then it only needs to land me one job and it will have paid for itself several times over.

Harry. The wife says you can send me one.

Mind you, it isn’t long enough…
