Is there something nice to cosy up your cab? (Gracemate Popp

I’m waiting to get allocated truck for myself and was preparing all things which would make my cab pleasant.

Bought Gracemate poppy vanilla only to realise it looks great, but smells nothing. Did I just waste monies, or should I place it strategically near heater vents?

How about a covid test?

How about Gwyneth paltrows ■■■■■■ scented candles.

I got some Katie Price ■■■■■■ scented candles off ebay.
It’s a calming blend of tuna oil, damp cave, walrus breath and warm rubber, I’d think I would sum up the scent as “relaxing swamp”…………

Sounds stupid, but have you unscrewed the cap, and taken the green cap off the stem? I don’t have one myself, but know a driver who said his didn’t smell of any thing, only for another driver to show him how to uncap it, didn’t actually smell too bad tbh.

Gracemate poppy - the latest trucker bling at £10 a pop ■■
Try these - I found they last longer smell better and cost less . Thank me later.

Whatever happened to the truckers standard air freshener?
The air wick tampon in a bottle thing wedged in the passenger door handle or zip tied to the grab handle? iirc they’re 99p from home bargains etc.

Just stick to the fragrance of choice from the ‘‘Great unwashed’’ contingent of tramper amongst us.
The combined essence of sweaty arse, rotten feet and scrotum, and week old undercrackers, enhanced with underarm savoury onion.
It seems to be a popular aroma amongst many drivers, particular prevalent in many of the trucks in our yard …that I refuse to drive while mine is off the road. :imp:

My choice?
The Airwick intermittent spray., either Orange or Lemon, sometimes the Mango,.and the Fruit Spicy cinnamon one at Christmas.

always been a bit unsure of using these within the confines of a cab Rob, not sure what the ingredients are. But as they are designed for the living room , it will be a concentrate in the lorry

Hmm never thought about the potential health dangers tbh, but that’s just me. :unamused:
I would imagine they are ok as far as they can be, otherwise they would carry a warning about using in small rooms which essentially a cab is.
But I’ll bear it in mind anyway, cheers.

They say only to use them in well-ventilated rooms, away from sleeping areas. The manufacturers say they contain petroleum-based solvents and that inhaling the spray directly is potentially dangerous. Doesn’t really sound like the sort of thing I’d want to have in the cab all day (much less all night).

Ah well, they seem to have had no effect on me whatsoever ,.and tbf it is switched off overnight.
In fact I was just saying the very same thing to the 2 winged demons that sit in ny seats when I’m in the bunk at night keeping guard on me every night.
