As for being an adult,.I do not think my maturity has ever been questioned on here …has it?
I do however, know that yours has recently, so maybe that is where the mix up occured.
Busy now… but the urge to insult would merely be in retaliation… like for like… bit like when you threatened me… then stated crying when I responded in a manner of bring it on. But let’s not do that all over again hey? I’m not sore
I’ll ignore the ‘crying’ bit and the ‘bring it on’ bs, as we are used to your sef ego massaging on here.
But don’t you ever accuse me of threatening anybody mate without relevant grounds !
I mean, what would the point of me trying to come across as some threatening internet warrior themed pseudo hard case on a [zb] internet forum , and making a complete twit of myself that no body could ever take seriously.
Oh hang on a minute, it has just occured to me I am asking the best qualified guy to answer that question.
I realise your still smarting after I rejected your sudo threats… but If we could just move on dear… there are adults having a discussion.
You have a habit of re.writing history, as well as being an evident terminal fantasist, what ■■■■ threats ffs.?
I aint smarting in the slightest either err …dear
As for these threats, pseudo or otherwise
(I’m assuming that is what ‘sudo’ meant)
that is yet another of your fantasies.
But no need for you to be concerned with any interference in adult conversation mate, we are all managing ok despite you but thanks anyway.
Very adult…

Although Jingle may be one of our more hysterical members and without a doubt no fun at parties I can relate to his logic.
This forum won’t give illegal advice seriously, perhaps a bit tongue in cheek and most of us have known Dozy for a long time and I for one like him a lot.
In fact I don’t think he has ever started a thread that wasn’t entertaining.
Anyway in this case he asked a question many of us will ask at sometime, i.e. hiding assets to protect joint savings and not wanting his wife to lose money.
Answers have been honest and informative and have hopefully steered him in the right direction.
Magistrates aren’t daft they have seen it all before they are also not bitter and twisted to apply a bigger fine than necessary so in this case honesty is the best policy.
I myself am as bent as they come but must stress be truthful show some remorse and let the cards fall as they may.
Aye, and if he has more than one operating brain cell… don’t think he’s smart enough to rock up at court and tell porkies to the experts at outing the mendacious… otherwise he could find himself in the slammer instead of temporarily skint. In my humble experience magistrates rarely reside over such serious matter & wiggies are far less charitable.
Edited to add: And OP, don’t involve your family you gopping low life ■■■!
P.S. It’s all very well throwing accusations around mate and attempting to be an injured and victimised party, but you’re not very good at it…

As I’ve got that page open, here’s the threat you allegedly made!
robroy:
Wow mate
You certainly don’t come on here to make friends do you eh?
It may pay you to take your own advice about mouthing off on a forum where you could be quite easily traced if required.
In my experience not many people like a smart arse, and absolutely NOBODY likes a grass.
If you consider that playground stuff, that is your prerogative, I prefer to call it realism.
I don’t want to come across all Ronnie Kray here , but in my younger days I have known of guys who grass, ending up in all sorts of predicaments from beatings to losing fingers and worse. In fact one in particular was never seen again, he is unofficially reported to be helping to hold up the bridge on the junction of the A1 and A69.
I know dozy aint the Godfather of the Trucknet Mafia , but one or two lads on here don’t like being rubbed up the wrong way.
(Btw don’t be grassing me up to the Old Bill for ‘‘threatening’’ you either. …I aint, I’m just stating a point. )…or on second thoughts go ahead I like a good laugh.
As for your hobbies good on yer mate…, bit of advice though.
Don’t be upsetting, grassing or coming across all self righteous with your parachute packers and bungee fixers as you do with some of the members on here…that’s all I’m saying.

This is your adult conversation eh Jon? Robroy responded with points. You are bent on provoking an argument.

No way. I joined the MN in South Shields as an engine cadet with the aim to have a job to finance a different goal (I was playing the long card ) but it didn’t work out for me as a cadet (I tried to switch from engine to deck after the first term and lost my place). My late teens/early twenties were a whirlwind of different jobs
(Sorry, just realised your quote is missing and I can’t get it back)

I did know that mate, I just wanted to see him clumsily attempt to try and interpret that as an actual threat, and carry on making a ■■■ of himself.
You are playing with fire quoting from a locked thread btw, the Chief Super of the Fun Police will be coming soon to lock it.
So we won’t spoil the thread for the rest of the guys any longer, but just let Jingle Bell carry on in his crusade to regain some credibility…best of luck with that one btw.
Still waiting for some Apache Gun ships to hover over my gaff in case he has marked his SAS mate’s cards . …Oh ■■■■ ! I can’t help myself can I.

Oh no another sandancer
No, I’m not a sand dancer . I’m from far far lower down the country. I was sent to South Shields to go to the MN college there. Was only there 6 months before heading off on my travels for the sea phase thing to join the 168000 DWT Iron ore bulk carrier MV British Steel at the Port Talbot Steel works and very shortly after that through clerical slugness and an 18 year olds fickleness my MN Officer career petered out. Enough time though to discover the best 10 inch wide circular prawn rolls at a cafe across from the college, that local fisties hated the cadets chasing their birds, plus I found a young newly qualified dentist who’d put Shipman to shame when he tried to rip out one of my teeth on an afternoon in a Terrace down from the college and left me in agony with shards of shattered jawbone pocking through my gums. Ah memories
The MN was a period of my life of all but less than 12 months in an 8 year working whirlwind effort to get me into another career entirely but it’s forever etched on my mind. As is most of that period of my life that saw me driving lorries, working in factories, driving vans, a cleaner on building sites, towing gliders in old crop sprayers, chasing girls with mates . All ended at age 25 when I entered my career.
I’ve not been in the industry very long but having spent some time in security (again not long) I kinda see the same thing happening to this industry as what’s happened to those in security.
Everyone’s looking for the cheapest workers. Companies under cutting others just to win contracts and then hiring people who’ll work for anything just to be employed and not having to sign on.
I don’t see a shortage of drivers I just see a shortage of people applying for ■■■■ paying driving jobs and then someone claiming we have a shortage because they can’t understand why they can’t hire anyone or why people don’t stay.
No driver shortage as we have said many times just a shortage of decent employers
So we end up with a self fulfilling circle. As employers get worse, the type of employee they’re stuck with gets worse causing employers to get worse… and so it goes on.
Terry T:
When yards are full of loaded trailers with no one to drive them then we can say there’s a skill shortage. That’s simply not the case though is it.
And they’re letting you do your dissertation on this. Might as well do it on Unicorns. Or Santa. Or god.
What happens when the skill shortage is among drivers who are supposed to load the trailers though?
In a firm where drivers just drive - there are going to be more drivers than jobs. = No Shortage.
Find a firm where the driver has to wear many hats though? - Who wants a job like that, especially for sub-standard pay? = Endemic shortage.
When a yard can’t find enough drivers, then the yard gets closed down and moved to a “more profitable part of the country” where drivers are ten a penny.
Ooop Narth for instance - how many M25 Corridor drivers are tramped out in laybys up there on any given day?
There’s plenty of northerners leaving limeade bottles down in this neck of the woods - put it that way.
Is there a diver shortage? No
Is there a shortage of drivers willing to or with the abilities to do a driving job that involves anything more than driving up and down the motorway and opening the back doors or curtains. ? Yes
