Is there a Knack?

I used to get the dipstick and wipe the oil over the male and female fittings, always worked for me.

Are they positioned badly? On our prime movers for the wag and drag we had to have a mod done and put a swivel in so we could pull the lot out to face us as we crouched beside the truck. The original design was a killer to try and connect up.

I normally just line the collar up with the notch, hold it back til the nozzle is slightly engaged then push with both hands til it clicks in :grimacing:

Replace the couplings with palm couplings problem sorted. :bulb: :wink:

I did it - Monday I had to drop the trailer at the Bristol branch - I was sweating and thinking Oh my word will I get it back on.

Put some cream over it and hey it slid on and clicked… I had to check it twice just in case I was dreaming.
Not had the trailer since Monday - so carry my cream all the time just in case.

Then I had to turn around - Backed it in on a slight hill and managed to get around,
I will be glad when I know what I am doing like you guys.

Miss the trailer now as I felt like a proper trucker now I am back to my 6 wheeler and feel like a multidrop day driver :unamused:
