Is the strong pound £ affecting Exports?

Our export work is a touch Quiet at the moment …Lambs are sold into europe in Euro’s …Yet they are costed in pounds £…at the current rate of 70 ish pence for a Euro … Anybody else seeing similar …■■? cheers

Back loads to Ireland were a real problem a couple of weeks back has picked up a bit now as companies have to buy eventually but in the space of about 6 months has gone from 85p down to 72p a big difference when you are dealing in thousands of euros
