Is the DQC card like an American Express Gold card?

My DQC card arrived yesterday (yippee). Apart from being able to use the executive washrooms at motorway services now, what other advantages will this privilege card give me?

Can anyone confirm the rumour that DVSA will just let you pass by if you flash the blue card at them, as you are now a trusted mobile worker… :?:

As long as you have it with you it will give you the privilege of not being fined (up to) £1000 or whatever it is when asked for it.

but you don’t have to carry a licence which states you are qualified to drive the vehicle you are driving
