You really wouldn’t want to make this phone call
this is class — poor renault
For the first minute of the clipwhen the two other trucks were pulling, the renault was obviously trying too, but I’d have expected the wheels to be breaking traction. And they weren’t.
Oh, those crazy Russians!
First the good news we’re getting the boat out of the water. The bad news is,not surprisingly,we had a bit of aggravation with the unit not being able to pull it on it’s own.All we’ve got to do now is to pull what remains of the unit’s cab off the chassis because at the moment it’s getting in the way by still hanging on what remains of it’s tilt hinges which is stopping us from being able to finish getting the boat up the slipway with the other wagons that we’re using to pull it with.
Guvnor- I thought that would probably happen that’s why I sent that zb Renault 6x2 unit to do the job instead of using a drawbar dolly and a 6x4 tipper loaded with wet sand.
Those boats may glide along a river like butter and a hot knife, however a self respecting Sunseeker weighs in at about 100 tonnes, coupled to the fact there are no wheels touching the road yet, just an equally heavy sled.
This is the only 8 wheeler they needed on that job.
Wheel Nut:

No problem we’ve already got a loaded 6 wheeler tipper standing by just in case we needed it anyway.Much cheaper than using those expensive ballast tractors that the heavy haulage lot use.
Froggy Sabotage !
What a Brilliant design, attach the towing eyes to the ‘CAB’ as well as the Chassis.
I had a similar thing happen on Brogborough Tip on wet clay in an F10.
Big Cat Bulldozer was towing me over the freshly ‘Bowser sprinkled clay’ (why do they do that Bloody Dust !) where I had lost all traction, I had it in 2nd on tickover to help it along & it found traction so I tooted Mr Deaf Cat driver who was in another world & carried on pulling the towing eye straight off the chassis. Did’nt hurt the cab though as they were seperate (good thinking Mr Sweedish Batman
