Stobart is a British company and his trucks are working in Britain. Its about time British people were left alone in peace and be allowed to exist in their own country without being constantly undermined and made to accept things that were forced on to them through no choice of their own. Thats my humble opinion so no, in answer to your question I personally do not think it would be nice to see a Stobart truck named after a Pole or a Pakistani. Is Stobart racist? Who gives a flying rats member. I may find it racist that British people have to constantly justify their existence to people of foreign origin in Britain who resent that a people and culture were already here when they arrived from India, Pakistan or even Poland. I’m of German origin myself so maybe I’ll complain that Stobart has no trucks with German names on and as an Anglo-German I’m being downtrodden and victimised…well I probably wont actually, because I like things the way they are and if it really bothered me that much that my German heritage was not being forced on to people I’d have gone and lived in Germany instead of Canada.

why does there need to be a foriegn name? far too much pc brigade, like when you have to employ a black man as its seen as politically correct its the same with disabilities, dont get me wrong i wouldnt like to be disabled but some rules are ott, i mind last year a company in Dundee went bust as they had to install disabled ramps and toilets for their employees even though they were all ‘of able body’. its not as if it was a shop or something, it was a packaging firm for commercial sales.
I’m sure theres some in Chesterfield, will have a look when I’m in next.

I think the OP is making a good point, come to think of it I have never seen an Eddie Stobart truck painted brown either! Proof the company is racist and all their staff must rackets too… I hope that no one reading this is driving a white truck!
I will be in work later today and although our trucks are not named I will get some paint and call mine Rupinder Patel just to even out the cultural divide!

Loving this thread no uga bugas in Stobarts it should be titled im surprised Their isn’t a law on the colours of trucks our fleet is White not one ethnic among 180 of them it won’t be long before the tree huggers have that changed if you have 180 motors atleast 18 of them must be brown or yellow
