Lets see if my logic/info is flawed in regards to the coronavirus covid19 …
No cure for about 2 years at best
Can delay getting it but cannot prevent getting it until a cure is available
Those that will sadly die from it will do so no matter when they get it
No amount of PPE will stop the above
No amount of testing will stop the above
This may just be my logic gone wrong so feel free to correct it
It appears that due to their tough approach China have stopped new cases apart from those entering the country from abroad?
A tough (and expensive) lockdown may work.
South Korea seems to be having success in controlling the spread, partly due to close monitoring of people’s (anonymised) movements.
Will those options appeal to the UK?

There are those that will die regardless of medical attention.
There are those that will recover without medical attention.
There are those that will recover WITH medical attention.
With the finite medical resources available, the only option available is to spread out the infection rate of that last group to avoid overwhelming the health services.
Beyond that, there’s nothing to do but sit and wait it out.

“Flattening the peak” also means that fewer medics/nurses will be off work with the virus at any given time, maximising those finite resources. It also buys a bit more time in which to e.g. build and equip temporary facilities like the “Nightingale” hospitals.
I like the way the present Health Sec is the ■■■■ of all, he’s only been in the job 5 minutes and wasn’t far as i’m aware issued with a magic wand nor until Ricki shook the magci money tree were countless £billions being thorwn about like confetti, the sprawling NHS has been run by layers of increasing mismanagement for bloody decades and no bugger has dared to tackle the new religion, the sacred cow.
ROG:
Seems that my point of using or not using PPE is making little difference to the total outcome
Same goes for testing
If my view is correct then what the heck are the press going on about the lack of PPE or testing
Is it just political rather than practical ?
There has been a lot of comment earlier about the “viral load” received by hospital staff. Some evidence that if they get a big dose of the bug their outcome is worse? Keeping it down through ppe may help those truly on the front line. Good practices may mean we can avoid us all contracting COVID 19. Correctly used ppe may help us all. So may close monitoring of temperature regular testing etc.
Keeping a lid on it may yet work.
For us civvies using face masks won’t protect ourselves, but may help others by us not spreading the virus when we are infected but showing no symptoms.
Lots of testing and monitoring etc may mean we can avoid a total lock down.
.
It isn’t a good situation, but it isn’t a lost game.
.
That’s my amateur reading.

“Layers of increasing mismanagement”?
That has been the mantra of some of the media for sure. Usually when the rich owners of news outlets want tax cuts.
Choose your own sources but look at how the NHS has been underfunded (in real terms) for years.
.
Stupid papers and dishonest journalists taking odd incidents and portraying such as representative has been rife for too long.
Go look at the figures for yourselves. Health costs money, and our country has been too stingy for too long.
.
Don’t take the media’s storyline that it is only bad managers who waste our cash.

It’s either a fake bioweapon attack with the intention of delivering the real one by needle.Followed by CCP takeover and colonisation of the country.
Or it’s the real thing. In which case your logic is spot on with the exception of thinking that there’s a ‘cure’ to a bioweapon which is an oxymoron. It’s designed to wipe out an enemy and it only automatically stops when it’s run out of victims to sustain its transmission.Leaving the way open for invasion and takeover.

Tested one day all clear then catch it the day after.
How does testing help against something which has been deliberately designed to have a long incubation period and to be infectious during that period.IE the tests will show nothing but the person is already infected and infectious.
There is no such thing as a total lock down. It’s impossible.
It was a lost game as soon as the governments allowed this into our countries.

Surely the flaw in your argument, taken to its logical conclusion, is that by the time the ‘bioweapon’ has run out of victims there will be no-one left alive to carry out the invasion and takeover - unless your CCP perpetrators, and enough of their citizens, have been effectively prevented from contracting Covid-19. Once the “weapon” had done its work, and the Chinese population had been reduced by a significant amount, would there still be a need to colonise other lands? But we already know that not everyone who contracts the “disease” actually dies from it…

Firstly it obviously isn’t spreading and taking out China, possibly as collateral damage, caused by the delivery system, in getting it from the lab to the carriers and planes, at anything like the rate of westerners. They can obviously also take the hit in that regard to maintain the plausible deniability narrative.
That’s even if we’re talking about an intentional planned release as opposed to a premature escape from the lab.
The rate of increase of cases not just deaths being sufficient to disable an enemy.
This really all comes down to the question of what was the intended delivery method. To meet their stated aims of attacking the west with bioweapons. Also how did they intend to avoid retaliation for it.
It’s that stated intent of attacking us that people seem to be in denial about.If/when the intent is accepted the rest falls in to place. They had/have to deliver it somehow.
Then they had to create a diversionary plan of plausible deniability.Either to avoid retaliation or to carry out the next phase assuming they’re going for a fake virus, fake vaccine delivery method.Really can’t believe that people would trust the CCP run WHO with their safety in that regard.Or trust China to be anything other than a dangerous evil enemy state.
The case for testing is flawed, as was helpfully explained yesterday by some eminent medic.
If you test me today. I don’t get a result until tomorrow. I have no symptoms, so why waste a test kit on me? If I am clear today. I may travel home on the bus tonight, catch the virus and pass it to 15 people, because, Hey I have been tested, its negative, I will be on the ward at 7.00am for 12 hours.
The local hospital is empty, nobody is abusing the A&E, they are treating themselves at home, as they should, 111 service is working well and the local health authority is renting spare facilities to look after post op patients, keep the hospital wards clear for virus patients, the shortage of PPE is due to a worldwide pandemic, most hospital staff do not need to wear face masks, visors and gloves. My wife is forced to change her equipment every 15 or 20 minutes over her 12 hour shift as they attend to the needs of 80 to 100 year old patients with many other problems. One in particular said she had to go and collect her wages yesterday, this lady is 89 and had to catch the bus as she hadn’t paid her board to her mother.
When Helen came home later than normal, she said they had to tice her back inside, she had managed to get out of her bedroom window.
The testing for antibodies, showing someone has had the virus, and can (presumably) not catch it again, is sound.
Testing for live virus seems good when using the South Korean model employing phone apps so that all recent contacts can be traced. All those the newly diagnosed victim has been close to are informed and self isolate until they are quickly tested at home.
Identities and movements are anonymised.

‘‘Presumably’’ can’t catch it again is the devil in that detail. With confirmed repeat cases. While antibodies per se isn’t the same thing as clear of the virus and non infectious.
While the antigen test tells us who and how many active cases there are.Which solves anything how.
Realistically either it’s a fake, some observations seeming to suggest that, and the main event is in the ‘WHO’ ( CCP ) Agenda 21 bat virus ‘vaccine’ which will all to predictably and conveniently appear from China’s biolabs.
Or it’s real.In which case there’s no way that the cases, critical, deaths numbers v recoveries is sustainable.Even when slowed down by lock down.
Just as expected of a bioweapon attack, just as Haotian said, either way.
Also bearing in mind the strain of this that has hit Europe and US isn’t the same as the one in Asia and the numbers prove it.Who would have thought it.
All because CIA an MI5 seemed to have been incapable of asking themselves how will China deliver this and then acting on the logical answer to that question accordingly.
