Is 'mandatory' 12hr a day normal, typical, standard

Most of the long hours is purely down to poorly managed RDC’s. Government really needs to side with the logistics firms as all the RDC’s just take the ■■■■ now.

I did a 12.5 hour shift on Sunday. I spent 5 hours of that in a depot with a split load. 2 and half hours to have 5 pallets unloaded and didn’t even get paperwork for it! Was passed on to next driver. Self tipping I do not mind as a bit of exercise is always a good thing but that is pointless as you are sat there waiting for paperwork anyway.
