Is Jeremy Corbyn a twat

“CF” can I ask what time “bang up” is in the facility you are confined to ? and when are you due for your medication ? I only asked a perfectly simple question i.e. Is Jeremy Corbyn a ■■■■■ ! and you my Son have turned the whole ■■■■■■■ thread into WW3,so just answer the ■■■■■■■ question “Yes or No” simples ! So I am now going to lie down in a darkened room! although unlike the cell, sorry, secure accommodation you will be in as my one doesn’t have a lock on the door or a “peep hole” where Nursie can keep an eye on the inmate, sorry, guest !! Cheers Bewick.

To be fair he’s no more a zb than Heath,Callaghan,Thatcher,Major,Blair or Scamercon. :smiling_imp:

All i will say on the matter is .to many barrack room lawyers it is getting in depth for me , some of the comments never came from the old mess room at a haulage yard, think some on this site have never drove a truck in their lives [my view] to political I am going back to the trucks, “ZB corbyn.”

It’s a long time since I drove a lorry but from what I remember, chat in a haulage yard was about one of the following: Lorries / the boss /customers / the roads / the weather / the nice girl who worked as a receptionist at the MOT testing centre.

It makes me laugh when people go on about privatization and the NHS . British Rail was a standing joke that was blowing money all the time because like most state owned companies nobody gave a toss as long as they got their wage at the end of the week , workers who knew their “rights” very well , i knew a guy who worked at the Royal Mail and he could tell me how many days he was entitled to paid sick and took them every year which amounted to around 30 days , then he had his holidays on top .Most state owned companies were an easy ride . The NHS isnt working because of the Tories .... are we sure about that , how long were Labour in power and did the NHS run smoothly then , i dont think so , the reason the NHS isnt working is quite simple too many people are using it who havent paid in . I dont think it will make any difference who comes into power because the 2 main parties are so similar in style , they promise to deal with issues but never do ,not the issues that need dealing with . Anyone who wants to come here should firstly have a skill that we need and should be made to pay into the system for 10 years before they can use our "free" services or claim ANY benefits .Any immigrant caught commiting an offence that amounts to a prison sentence should be deported immediately , otherwise they become a burden on tax payers .We give money to third world counties every year ,where and why , charity starts at home ,lets put our own house in order before we start throwing our money around , and who actually gets the money most third world countries are corrupt . We need to get out of the EU asap and get back to running Britain in a way that suits us . Will any party promise this i dont think so because at the end of the day they all ■■■■ in the same pot no matter which party the represent , dont forget the only thing they agree unaminously on every year ... their pay rise and its always a large 1. Blair and his wife lined their pockets when he was in charge with the human rights law , which Cherie did very well out of helping to sue the state . Do i think Jeremy Corbyn is a [zb] yes i do probably a bigger one than most MPs but hes not on his own .

Hi Ramone, bet you feel better with that of your chest, spot on mate, and yes Jeremy Corbyn is a [zb] idiot. Les.

I’ve just sent you a PM Les, cheers Haddy.

Can I come and live in your world Ramone,it looks to be so easy and simplistic,I bet there is a queue to get in though?

David

Politics was often just as important as those. At least assuming it was a big unionised employer in whatever industry.

While I have been an avid reader on Truck-Net for quite a long time, I like to read what past and present driver have to say about our industry, and being one of the older end retired drivers who like to keep up with some of our past friends who spent there lives on the road, and that is what I expect to see when I log on to this page.
I also like to keep up with what’s going on on the world, even more with my country, and I can get enough of that watching the news and watching political programs when the public are allowed to debate themselves, and while I agree that Corbin is a waste of space, and god forbid if he ever got into 10 Downing Street, it should not be debated on Truck-Net, this page is for Truck Drivers not a political party debate.
Sorry if you don’t agree but that’s my opinion on the Corbin subject, I don’t like him but it is not a subject to be debated on Truck-Net.
Kind Regards :-Jack Graham. “EX A1 Driver” retired.

Well now, that last post has put us straight Lads, from now on we are only allowed to post strictly PC conforming issues on transport matters of old ! So OK but this strict requirement will immediately preclude half the members on the site from posting eh! :open_mouth: :open_mouth:     Bewick.

Unfortunately Gaz this is no longer the case, the PC Brigade are invading every aspect of our lives even the formally very un PC world of Road Transport is now under threat from the PC’ers, I’m glad I am no longer involved but it was a real “scream” during the 35 years I was involved from the rank of trailer mate to MD of my own firm !! Cheers Dennis.

I know we don’t sing on the same hymn sheet regarding politics but I do wish I was old enough to have driven proper lorries (not trucks) in your early days of road transport like my dad both granddads and several uncles did
I didn’t enter the road transport industry professionally until 1981 but before that I had many trips in old lorries as a kid and spent every weekend school holidays with my family in all forms of lorries
I do have the top most respect for those who worked in the halcyon days of road transport where there was camaraderie and more importantly no PC bollox sadly the days of calling a spade a spade are long gone
kind regards Gary

If you started out in the industry as a driver in 1981.Like me you would still have been old enough to have formed your views during the still very un PC days of the 1970’s.As you’ll have noticed from my posts.

I didn’t say I started driving in 81 I said I entered the road transport industry professionally in 81 and I’ve had the same views and beliefs throughout my working life I was brought up to
treat everybody I meet the same regardless of the colour of their skin/race or religion

Unfortunately nature didn’t agree with you and which is why we are all now lumbered with the result in Jihad on the streets of Western Europe.Among other examples of the failed Socialist ideology of ethnic integration. :unamused:

Meanwhile how does treating every ethnic group and culture the same fit the definition of calling a spade a spade.Let alone the fact that you wouldn’t want to offer that friendly possible Jihadist a beer and a bacon sandwich. :unamused:

Look “CF” my Son this thread has been censured for not sticking to the narrow guidelines of only old time transport matters so this fact must surely preclude you from imparting the thoughts of your extremely fertile mind on all things not remotely connected to Drivers and Road transport. So I would think that your best chance of continuing spouting your well crafted bollox is to take over “Bully’s Truckstop” .Well at least we will then know where to find you if we require any guidance on matters above our pay grade !!Cheers Bewick

Don’t blame me you’re the one who posted it here instead of Bully’s. :open_mouth:

Having said that I’ve suddenly realised why there are no references to anyone asking for a proper breakfast with one or no eggs and more bacon in a Saudi cafe on the ME topics. While the film ice cold in Alex must have been to wind up the Egyptians or was it actually alcohol free Carlsberg. :smiling_imp:

Yer right “CF” it’s down to me Son but I only set out to “drain the swamp” but I have ended up with crocodiles snapping at my arse !! Cheers Bewick.

Dennis, concerning the merits, or otherwise, of straying off subject then personally I view this section of TN and its multi-faceted topics as being akin to the days of yore when transport cafes were aplenty, drivers digs abounded, and pubs were places where a quiet pint could be savoured and drivers from all over the country would gather in any of these places at the end of a day’s graft to chat and put the world to rights. Also in the corners of transport yards and canteens in factories on docksides etc. Invariably the talk would be of transport related matters but if “current affairs” were interesting at the time then these would be discussed as well. There was, and always will be, a divergence of opinions and insults would sometimes be traded, but in the end it was all taken in the right spirit and no offence caused. So long may the occasional diversion down a byway be a feature on here. Let’s not be like today’s drivers having to park at night in a layby stinking of pee and cocooned in our own cabs, so to speak. :frowning:

Years ago when Peter Shore ( lab) transport minister went on to the Dormobile stand at the Commercial Show at the N.E.C. and nodding his head as they do asked whose engines do they use ? Next day he was reshuffled like a lot of them. Why don’t these blokes get rid of their high visabillity jackets and helmets with their best suits and get a day with one of the tipper lads with tools on the floor on the passenger side then get out and sort the tailboard out and easy sheet.Have a brew from a flask that is well worn and then go and get another load into the weighbridge and have a laugh with the other lads and even when it’s ■■■■■■■ down.

Bloody hell, that’s the pot calling the kettle black. In all my years of going on forums, I’ve never known anyone to get away with the underhand and negative off topic comments you make. Talk about putting yourself on a pedestal, shouldn’t it be for others to sing your praises? Ie. former employees. Bejesus, you couldn’t make it up.

I for one, will sing the praise for our ■■■■■■■■ CONTINGENTED he is truck and transport through and through and I do not even know him.
He TALKS through this forum as he knows what he is on about not like a lot of you Walter Mites who would not know the arse and of a bit of rope . from a chain and snapper .or a 8 panel sheet
yes I know he started the thread however it was to be light hearted no a big, look at me apolitical soap box it was not intended to change the world.
