J16-J15 just taken me about 45 minutes. Grrrr.
I once had 3 successive detours around the A500 through Stoke on 3 successive Fridays to miss those Junctions on the M6, it must be the most accident prone stretch in the UK? Thankfully I’ve moved jobs and Friday trips from Enfield to St Helens are no more 
It’s always from Thelwall to 16/15 both ways. I’ve just done 16 just past the breakdown to 9 on the limiter, it’s great, just like a Sunday Morning (early)

I do that sometimes but after checking the highways website, I saw that the M6 was clear right down to Catthorpe.
Got back to MK at 17.20 in the end.

I have pointed out many times that the exit lanes in both directions for J 15 Stoke are too short.
The same when joining the motorway.The joining slip road is too short to get up to speed and join faster traffic.
