Is it worth it

Medical done, ADR done, booking theory and hazard perception tomorrow. Not having second thoughts as such but maybe after some reassurance it’s going to be worth all this time effort and money. Is there plenty of work and companies in the Teesside area willing to take on new lads like myself.
Sorry I know all this has been asked before but as you all know it’s a fair wedge of money being paid out, sorry for boring you all to death, have a good evening gents

The job is what you make it’ I actually enjoy getting around the country and meeting new people, I earn enough for me and the wife and two kids to go away several times a year and actually enjoy ourselves! You may have to start out on a agency but get a few months under your belt and go get a full time job! Am sure you will do just fine

I think it’s more than just a job it’s a lifestyle

Thanks for quick response yt, yeah I am sure I will enjoy the job but I do worry about getting a start as there is not much happening up here, I see ur from ull are you watching the game, thanks again

You will get a start just be persistent’ we all started somewhere mate just look at it like that! You might get offered some work and you may hate it, but dig deep and get some experience and before you know it you’ll be able to pick and choose what you do!

I can’t stand football mate :grimacing:

Agree with the above, job is really what YOU make of it. I love it, but others will ■■■ ■■■ it (there is always someone who will).
If you get in with the right company then life’s good. This job still can be enjoyed.

Thanks for responding Casper and yt, I just want to get on with training then getting out working, and with this driver shortage maybe easier than I think,
