Judge acknowledged the "drivers skill set too '…[emoji849][emoji849] [emoji1787] [emoji1787]

You would think the best Plan would be to tell the driver nothing, so would just deliver the container just like all the others he has delivered.

“Easy to vanish a load?”
Clearly this isn’t a successful example of such!

Not the brightest of people.
And yes a load can vanish easy. Just not that way.

No load has been found…thus far [emoji38]

I call that a successful vanish [emoji1787]

He only part vanished it. Clever thing to do qouldve been fully vanish load trailer and unit. Especially given the profit margin was 100%.

Agreed, how the judge can sentence you to 5yrs for this, albeit out in 2, yet you get day release for murder nowadays is beyond me.

Guessing the judge had a ■■■■■ teen at home who didn’t get his PS4 that day…

I reckon he left couple pallets behind deliberately…
as a good will gesture, guaranteed lighter sentence should the worst happen and he got a lentil eating jury…

Show em he had a heart, they’d have lapped that up, ‘oh he showed such remorse, and only took what was needed to pay for his Aston MA… sorry…Cough…
…Sick an dying African goldfish he’d adopted out of harms way’ as he came upon Felixstowe dock…[emoji38]

Rules are stricter now on “unexplained wealth” so driving anything better than ten year old Ford on release could raise eyebrows?

6 months for stealing the ps4’s
7 and a half years for fiddling the tacho

Why do people post such complete ■■■■■■■■, show me one report where someone has been given a mandatory life sentence for murder which included immediate day release? :unamused:

Was just a quip chap…

Although surely you agree
7 yrs is a bit much for fiddling with a tachograph/and hoiking some electronic tat, compared to what’s handed out for real nasty crimes…crimes which invariably get lesser sentences due to ‘technical difference of interpretation’, between meditated and pre meditated as an example.

Apologies for the triggering [emoji849][emoji1787]

Nicking £769,000 worth of stuff is hardly petty crime, IMO the sentence is about right.

I’m guessing you didn’t get your PS4 either then…

Sadly on this occasion, I’m going to resist the bait, and merely hope that one day you don’t have to deal with the sentences that our balanced judicial system dispenses, such as in cases like this…

Anyway I bid thy, a Good day squire [emoji19][emoji8]

That’s the retail value. It’s probably nearer £50,000’s worth ex-factory.

Christopher Champion, 41, of St Helens, Merseyside, was sentenced for theft and handling stolen goods at Ipswich Crown Court on Friday May 31.

He was sentenced alongside Robert Ratcliff, 47, of Wraysbury, Berkshire, Darren Brown, 37, of Leigh, Lancashire and Keith Williams, 45, of Bolton, who had all been convicted of handling stolen goods.

Look at all these sneaky EE criminals with fake names, ahhh can’t fool me!!!
