You would get institutionalised being away from home as long as some of the American truckers are. I did about a year of tramping and although I like being on my own a lot of the time, just wasn’t for me in the end.

You can’t beat going home at the end of the work day in my opinion.

Tramping brings all sorts of problems in my experience,that’s why I only do the odd night out now.
A problem at home is no good when your worried about it down the road
