Doing a trunk to south London at 5pm today - double time. Then back in as normal on Friday for my 4 on.
Tbh, financially, working was a no brainer for me. It’s the first bank holiday I’ve worked as a ftw for over 15 years and as the place I work at is very heavily unionised I was (pleasantly) staggered by the rates for today. So a 15 it is!

No work lark for me today finished last Monday not back till this Saturday and as full time getting paid more for being at home than working happy days.
Had to go to Morrisons yesterday for more beer and wine oh the strain of it lol 
Not on your own moaster, I worked this morning 7 till 12 now that’s a shift I could get used to !
Now sat at home chilling, will go out for a beer later, how long a shift you got ?

Got one shift on Thursday then back in full-time from 5th. Think I’m losing the plot cos I had my driver bag cleared out and reloaded and my satnag updated by 9:30 boxing day
Son has 3 days this week then AFAIK he’s fully booked from 4th.
Back to work tomorrow, 6am in Leeds then off to Newcastle. Working the 30th, don’t know about the NYE though, might have to take my sister back to Wales.
Slipped in a nice little OT shift in today, yesterday was normal work day, same 9hr run both days traffic easiest for years, tomorrow normal rest day, i do a weird shift pattern.
Just done 10 hours myself Maoster.

14.5 for me. Dropped a bollock though; dropped trailer in our Nuneaton depot and sprayed a couple of litres of red derv onto the catwalk and airlines, proceeded to our jetwash and the buggers have only turned it off! Motor stinks of derv now!

Double bubble for yesterday and today - thank you very much - was rota’d to work today anyhow and missus is at work as well… so keep it lit, little feather friends need their dinner.
1st time in yonks to be paid x2 of hours worked - in fact 1st time I’ve done any form of overtime in years due to the shocking x1.25 overtime rate that Canute/Wilko pay when i was there.
