got sent this earlier, no its not me and I don’t work for the form involved.
apologies, just noticed its been posted earlier
A spokesman for Carr’s Flour Mills condemned the behaviour as “disgraceful and totally unacceptable” to the company.
He said: “The driver was not one of our employees, but an agency driver providing holiday cover.
Agency driver.
There’s no excusing the lorry drivers behaviour but the car drivers long unnecessary horn blow probably aggravated the situation, why do people think leaning on their horn during and after a minor almost none event will do any good
The lorry driver was stupid, and looked even more foolish when he tried to do a cool leap back into the lorry and failed
Love the way these threads are set up for contraflow to dis the agency driver…how can the uk’s best paid driver be so bitter.
Bloke shouldn’t be on the road simple, regardless of his employment status. Theres enough on the tape for the police to take action.
Just sometimes feel it is easy to blame the agency driver. The company wanting to cut costs by avoiding the costs of full time employment should take some of the blame… First and foremost he is a driver of that vehicle why should his employment status come into it.
Without shunters and agency drivers there would not be a single unit or trailer in this country with a mark on them.
I’ll carry on taking the blame smiling and getting up the nose of the constantly moaning employed driver who loves to hate me. Oh and working when i want, staying in bed when i feel like it and not being at the call of my employer. Not to mention paying less tax from being paid direct and managing my own accounts.
Come on ‘professional’ agency drivers stand up for your chosen trade. Like me there is little doubt in the numerous companies you work in you come across your fair share of employed muppets, but have the decency to not constantly point out their shortfalls on annonymous forums. Unless we lose some of that decency … maybe.

I guess with lots of traffic there needs to be a long horn from a car to ensure the lorry driver hears it. It’s not always easy to hear horns in a rigid especially as we all know it’s quieter in an artic.
Guys a ■■■■, if he’d done that to me he wouldn’t of walked back to his truck

Then you’re no better than him.
I’d be pretty upset too being an agency driver in Scotland of all places, stuck in traffic, being treated like zb, paid peanuts & driving a day cab:lol:

Cool conspiracy theory bro.
You’re right, it was all set up. Everybody in the video were actors. The company were generously compensated for the use of their vehicle and for telling the media it was an agency driver. The whole thing was bankrolled by me using my vast personal wealth.
Seriously though, there’s two types of agency driver.
You’ve got the ones that genuinely choose to work through agencies for their own benefit. It suits their lifestyle and they’re happy with it. “Agency driver” comments on TruckNet are like water off a duck’s back to them.
Then you’ve got the guys who have no choice but to do agency work because no self respecting employer will touch them with a barge pole; like the one in the video. These are the ones that tend to get all upset when someone points out that it was an agency driver that did something daft.
It’s fairly obvious which category you fall into.
I think if this driver spent the day in the smoke with me he would have a meltdown…
Totally unacceptable actions from a driver who is supposed to be a “professional”. I hope the agency no longer use this fool, if he is an agency that is? What he should have done was apologise profusely to the car driver, and as for his hand gesture… disgraceful.
There’s a job going there now!
Looking at the video objectively , the car driver was not in the wrong eg didn’t accelerate to beat the truck, the truck driver wasn’t indicating ! He wasn’t performing an emergency manoeuvre,so that argument cannot be used! And then waits several minutes to have a go at an innocent family who’s biggest problem was hanging on the horn a moment longer than needed,I’m sorry no excuse! He’s a nob.

Read the news article.
The driver got the game all wrong,
If your gonna dive out of the cab to open the car door and hurl abuse, at least take their keys out of the ignition and see how far they can fly
Just look at the way he’s dressed. Typical scum.
polo shirt and jeans
what exactly would you like to him to wear ?
wonder why they’ve blurred his face out on this version of the video
What was the point of that? He ran at their car then straight back again making a ■■■ out of himself in the process. Can’t see what the car driver did wrong apart from holding the horn a bit more than they should’ve. They weren’t the one to be moving out of lane three, then on a whim moving back over without any indication whatsoever, quite how that’s the car drivers fault I don’t know.

if you watch it on utube and pause it then theres worse than him going around,at least all his tattoos are spelt correctly…
