Or have an old car key on a fob. Somehow they never notice that they say Ford or Citroen or whatever on them.

Maybe its time the truck manufacturers actually realised that drivers may be stuck in the cab with no keys for hours and designed their units with that in mind, with driver comfort electrics usable without the keys. Its not rocket science after all. :unamused:

I can use the radio, do the windows and sunroof in my MAN. Hella sockets are live too.

spent the week in a daf and naff all works without the key , not even the radio :frowning: another ballache , I delivered at nisa livingstone yesterday and had to trail all the way round the site to hand my keys in (at least the weather was fine ) and sit in a portacabin and stare into space for 20 mins . at least booker provide a bit of music and a coffee machine .

My mate once handed his car keys in instead of the lorry keys,once he got a green light he did one without getting his keys back,he only realised when he was an hour down the road :open_mouth: :open_mouth: he got a final warning for it and banned for life from all the firms sites,very lucky to keep his job…
