MADBAZ:
Yer not kidding, when I had a little holiday in Greenock, Low Moss & Castle something or other near Dundee (courtesy of ERII) the first question I was always asked was “are you a Rangers or Celtic fan?” I replied with “York City” it confused the hell outta them for a short while, they then assumed I was one of Longshanks’ minions and therefore a Rangers fan , Braveheart has a lot to answer for
Castle Huntly. I’ve lived in Glasgow all my days and it confuses the hell out of folks when i tell them i don’t support or give a monkeys about Celtic or Rangers when they ask me. Its just assumed that you are one or another up here.
Try going down Duke St when there’s a March on, you’d think it was a royal visit Wae all the union jacks. My local adds looks like a methadone drop in clinic with all the junkies and woman in the jammies at 3 in the afternoon

Reminds me of when Asda were trying to open a store in Larkhall. Some of the locals actually wanted the Asda sign above the shop to be blue as anything green in that area is frowned upon. Not kidding.
They smash all the green lights at traffic lights, think that is why there is cages over some of them now.
And shut up madbaz anymore of yer Rangers financial jokes and yer getting chibbed
Like that in Harthill…(sorry… Loyalist Harthill…).the council painted the fence on the local playpark Green… Literately over nite it was painted Blue by the locals…am no joking
You gotta love my city glasgow we have more bigotry than Ireland. When ever there’s a old firm game is not unusual for some poor soul to be killed.I love my city as I’ve been here all my days, and know no different but I will not allow my son to grow up surrounded by junkie, prosies and UK border securities asylum seekers dumping ground.the sad thing about the fences and adds signs being blue are true

All very true…loads of my mates are Huns… and me a Tim… or on Old firm match days a Taig…I love the banter between me and Them… !! But thats as far as we go just good old fashioned Banter… I love it even more at the Mo with the state of a affairs over on the southside at Castle Greyskull…
So in reply to Glasgow falling down… yes it is down a street called Edmiston Avenue…
And this is how the buses used to look and should still be,

The locals in Bridgeton used to paint the kerbstones red, white and blue around the 12th of July. Not sure if that still happens.
theres bits of glasgow thats always falling down or breaking like the water main thats always keeps bursting just up from the citizens theatre
and glasgow during the marching season , u can imagine how popular i was one day when i nearly wiped a load of marchers out as i came round a corner in a green and white car
still have the banter down here too as the one planner is a rabid rangers fan where as i support the hoops so its been rather fun atm with rangers money problem
