Someone sat in their truck traipsing up and down the motorway is in most cases quite happy because thats the job they like.I had my lorry driving days cut short by an accident. I would go back to driving lorries tomorrow if I could. I couldn’t care less if its motorways or A or B roads its all part of the job.Commonrail you stick with your £25 per hour, you are just a hobby driver.
In Dave’s defence I think he has you two mixed up shag.

i certainly would`nt fancy being a doctor
+1
Gynacologist/fanny doctor might be all right though.
Must be nice working in a all female enviroment surrounded by fit nurses.
Who says fit doesn’t mean “Rosa Klegg Lookalikes” that have people shot for minor misdemeanors like “Missing the Hood”?
Gives a whole new meaning to “He seems fit enough. Yes, we use live ammunition too!”
As for everyone else in any line of work - it could be argued that most of us spend much of the day surrounded by c—s if you wanna be like that…

To answer the original question. It depends on how you look at it and what you want out of it. My ambition has always been to travel and since driving a truck I have visited every corner of Britain, most of western Europe, all of Canada and 39 American states and I’ve saved a shed load of money doing it. I think theres more to life than “Keeping up the the Jones’” and living beyond your means buying things on finance while prancing around in a shirt and tie pretending your better than everyone else. I’m fairly content driving a truck, I cant think of a job that I’d truthfully rather do and while it continues to provide me with a good living, a different view every minute and the continuing chance of travel I shall carry on doing it. What other people, especially potential partners may feel about it is irrelivent, if they dont like I’m a trucker, they can quite honestly take their face’s for a ■■■.
