IRT :- The sham continues

Hiya all, first post but been lurking for a while lol.

Just watched last nights IRT  . Rick Yem drops a bag off the trailer, pallet and bag are seperated. Along come Vlad and Hugh who decide to pick the bag up. Hereā€™s where it goes a bit wrong.

Vlad chucks the pallet over the snowbank at the side of the road. They get the bag chained to the loader and as it lifts off the ground the pallet has mysteriously placed itself back under the bag.

Think they have given up covering up the set ups?

Heyup eldeano wellcome to trucknet,i dont watch irt ive fallin out with it ,im a outback truckers convert so i cant comment sorry buddy

I also noticed how miraculous it was that a camera was looking at the bag when it fell off.

Donā€™t get me started on poor ā€˜Porkchopā€™ whos was well and truly shafted by that up-himself gaffers pet knob jockey, sure every workpace has one of these twunts, with a face you could never get tired of kicking.

ā€˜Nothing stops the chopā€™.

AND THERE WAS ME THINKING IT WAS TRUE LIFE :open_mouth:

I agree ,them 2 driver trainers on it are real cockstenchers, they act as if nobody is good enough to do the job ,if it was left to them they would be the only 2 on the road, its only a bit of ice ffs

Repeat after me boys and girls , ā€œthis show is not real this show is not real this show is not realā€ . Get the idea yet ?

This show is defiantly not real no way could there really be someone who squinnies, whines and moans like a big fanny as much as rick yem.

I.R.T. is made for Yanks and Canadians, thankfully we have Trucks and Trailers to keep us in touch with reality.

Spot on, no namby pamby icey climbs up ā€˜Gobblers Knobā€™ (sure thats what the road was caller on IRT) for us. Our lot are keepin it real with tricky slip road moments and narrow garden centre access points.

The whole thing is a sham just like all the others stobarts outback top gear specials ALWAYS SAFE ENOUGH FOR THE CAMERA OPERATORS who seem too be set up along the routes well in advance :exclamation: :exclamation: :unamused:

Just watching the new out back truckers very good seems like they are real drivers not like irt were they just toke a 30 min driving lesson :grimacing:

I takes days to deliver the stuff thatā€™s why they simply canā€™t film all the fleet.
IIRC it took about three days filming to set up one of the Stobart deliveries on T & T.
Thatā€™s after all the work that had to go into getting the customer to agree to take the delivery with a film crew etc.

I want Rick and Hugh to go to that lad in Austrailia who runs Megatruckers.
He would beat them to death with a wrench after about 2 days
Do us all a favour.

What channel is megatruckers on Iā€™ve never heard of this show?

Dave i think, heavy haulage outfit, tackle impressive and boss takes no sh-t,not been on for a couple months

Wasnā€™t this firm on ā€œOutback Truckersā€? if so try ā€œQuestā€ 8pm tonight (9pm on +1)
This new series is good. Lets see what Hugh or Rick would do collecting those sheep from the farm

Back to IRT, Austin Wheeler came up in my reckonings by giving that other truck a shove without having to be asked
