So what mod altered the crazy swear word - TWA7 :unamused:

Nice F12 Globey.

Makes the M25 look ■■■■■.

Ken.

Just found the road on Google maps, (North Yungas Road.) and it’s in Bolivia, but it looks like they don’t have to take that road according to GM, as it’s off the main highway but comes back on to it further down.

More hype.

Ken.

I know there’s a lot of old ■■■■■■■■ talked on there but Hugh does get cracking with it. That Mr Punch lookalike American bell end is just asking to me shoved off a high cliff. Otherwise looks good. Anyone else notice that Hugh and Rick are driving a downrated 8 wheeler?

Who was that Red Bull addicted Captain America knob? I loved the way he was banging on about LA Streets, Americas number 1 truck drivers, we’ll show them we’re the best then 10 minutes later he’s telling his buddy (who had only done local multidrop deliveries around LA himself) how his entire 2 year truck driving career has involved nothing more than driving around the 2 mile diameter perimeter road at LA docks. Yeah…worlds best toughest trucker…What a knob. :unamused: :unamused:

Hugh being Hugh - if in doubt give it gas. Rick being Rick. Quite why the hell Lisa went there I don’t know considering how it went in Asia.

I drove through Andes on friday morning, not quite the height but route 28 crosses between two mountain peaks, Mt Pisgah and Greys mountain at 3,500 feet. LOL

PS … Ice road truckers is so set up it’s unbelievable, what a load of rubbish.

i love that dock driving box jockey, he’s a compleat and utter twrp, out to prove him self. bollox, to prove him self, he’s just got to drive out of the dock’s

dave, i still have the same thought’s about him as i did on the ice road, he’s a grafter, he just want’s to get out there, earn money and drive, and he doesn’t give a ■■■■ about ‘‘the carlile family’’ :unamused: :unamused: he just want’s to get out there and earn the money

as for the truck’s, they don’t seem to mention anything about them, i wonder how well lisa is gonna manage the almighty syncromesh gearbox in the f12?

Am I the only one that noticed Hugh & Rick’s truck should be an 8 legger but has the second steer axle strapped up and wheel-less?

Either way, could be an interesting series. Love the old F12s!

I think I’d rather a 6 wheeler on those roads, some of those bends didn’t look very clever.

No ones asked yet,

Where are the andes…on the end of your wristes…sorry

Think the whole series is a load of bollox.

Much prefer Ice Pilots.

I would have liked it better with more factual onfo rather than all the Macho crap.
I wonder what the real lorry drivers in the Andes thought of them :unamused:

Not just me who’s that sad then

I guess Ideally a Rear Steer would be an advantage on those roads, but I didn’t think an 8 wheeler looses much turning circle does it?

Some are better than others. Mine is not too bad sometimes I’m surprised how good it is but it still needs more room than a six as the axle doesn’t allow the front steer to glide round like it can on a six. Look at a twin steer on full lock and you’ll notice that the second steer turns about half as much as the front one which makes for a larger arc.

The worst culprits are the units that have been stretched and not set up properly, generally when they haven’t moved the second steer axle forward it’s going to be trouble. An 8 wheeler with a massive gap between axles 1 & 2 is worth avoiding. That said I know of a local firm with a converted unit and the axles are spaced as per a factory built, the driver asked me to have a go one day and it was horrific. It was about as nimble as the Ark Royal.

I guess it varies per truck to an extent, but most of the ones I’ve seen (Mainly in Construction spec) the second axle seems to turn about the same and leads them to turn pretty tight, as in that job they need to be pretty nimble. It’s crazy in a way that an artic can actually be slightly easier to work in those conditions as it has an extra bend in that a rigid cannot compete with.

Only saw ep 1 so far , was really suprised at Lisa & Dave , abandoning the truck! And even thou "captain America " is a idiot but good on him for taking the load to the finish.

Ps is it me or would you not want to be sharing a truck driving up the side of a mountain with shear cliff drops with a person who’s drunk 5 red bulls up the side of a bloody mountain ! I sure as hell wouldn’t let him near the wheel,
Can’t understand him spouting on about this and that then admitting all he really does is dock work !!!
All I can say is they must have thrown some money at them, ESP Hugh bet he’s on a fortune.

Pps how good is it to see the F12 gob stoppers ,
Also am sad as well , I spotted the 8 wheeler -6 wheeler conversion lol
