Cant help with the job,

Just dont call anybody “mate”!

Its a long story :stuck_out_tongue:

Welcome to the mad house :stuck_out_tongue:

Never worked for them, but was confined to the office (in revenge I expect) at my last place one day and took a 'phone call. Went something like this:

“Your driver, reg xxxxxx is holding me up - going too slow so driving dangerousley on the Axxx out of somewhere.”

“And you are?”

“An artic driver working for Irlams of blah.”

“Oh, right and what speed’s he actually doing?”

“40mph.”

“where abouts exactly?”

Now I know full well the bloke’s in a national limit in a 17.5 tonner 'cause he’s on my route and I know he’s got a load of liquid in drums on board. That’s probably why he’s taking it easy through the bends.

Me:“So he’s actually doing the correct speed through a 40mph limit then?”

“Errrr.”

“■■■■ off you impatient ■■■■ and stop hassling my drivers. BTW, are you on a hands free?”

He put the 'phone down.

Made me wonder how hard they’re actually pushing their drivers or if he was just an impatient dipstick  :unamused: .

Welcome to Trucknet Jacko  .
