Irish Cream livery

OK I did the Red & Green livery post and had a fantastic response thank you all.
Next question why did so many Irish trucks have cream liveries ? some I remember are T C REFRIDGERATION (orange cab, black grill & cream Scania’s) TRANSCONTINENTAL (brown & cream Dafs) HAGAN TRANSPORT (green & cream Scania’s)
The only one I can think of that is left in that colour scheme is CAFFERY’S lovely motors, anyone got any nice Irish truck photo’s ?

Hi John, Yes that the ones, I have to say they always looked much better in the flesh, I also remember a Lady driving for them back in the late 70’s, someone told me that was Joes wife, but I could have been misinformed.

Thanks Dave.

Yeh that was joes wife, heard they are both gone now

It seems just like yesterday, when I think back to seeing her out & about, thing is it was 40 years ago…
