Strange to see at the bottom of that article a mention of the forthcoming UK fuel tanker drivers’ strike being linked to rising fuel prices. :open_mouth:
I thought that was a bog standard old fashioned pay dispute. :confused:
Funny how journalists will twist any facts to fit the story that suits them. :unamused:

When they do loads at £500 going out and £1200 going back. They make a rod for there own backs. When the price of fuel goes up they can’t absorb sod all. It is bad for them but why do the irish hauliers do the job on the cheap on the outgoing loads.
My mate was paid 85ppm. I said how do you make it pay? He told me it’s because he gets the fuel in the south.
He was in england mostly so the southern price should have been his bonus.
