Iraq convoy video

Yes Conor I do know more about the subject than you do. Why because I managed to do the full 22, whereas you managed about 3 before you discovered you had a glass back or was it just spineless.

You have no right to call anybody STAB. Many of them are not stupid and some of them aren’t even ■■■■■■■■■ But every one of them has more guts than you will ever have.

Your right, I’ve done the driver training at Leconfield done the convoy driving and now work at the school as an instructor. How would you suggest we do the training? Have a roadside IED at Noddys Griddle, and ambush at Middleton on the Wolds, a fire fight at Kellythorpe, Kneecap those who don’t make the grade, in Eastfield Road. Come on give us the benefit of your vast 3 Years in the REME.

If you can think of better ways of doing the training within the time and financial constraints we work under then please do so.

My problem with your posts is that after 3 years service you feel qualified to comment on all things military, comment on soldiers attitudes and performance (TA or Regular), when you are clearly bitter and twisted . Yet then produce the complete and utter drivel that you posted at the beginning of this post, Bigging yourself up!!!

Give it a rest, stick to what up are good at. Which is giving people on this site useful information on the transport industry?

Without the benefit of Reservist’s and TA (Who make up most of the medical services in Iraq and Afghanistan) the Army could not cope FACT

why do people act so bloody stuipidly, we are all drivers here and
as for service with the forces, well we are not any longer a part
unless ,working as a civvy,in some form or other or we are part of the TA:
or reseves and have been told to participate,AND as i was told many many
years ago the whole service depends on the following ALL working together
so SHUT UP RUNNING people down,

you can train as much as you like but NO ONE knows what they will do
when a incident happens, and belive me it,s the quiet, small unseemingly
obsucure person who reacts first, not Mr MEGA MOUTH

as for ambushes the advantage is all ways with the attacker
and if they do their job right, then normaly you ARE all dead or injured:,
and you can only hope that some one will come and help you get out
of the ambush

Conor?

ron9516What a breath of fresh air.Pleased to meet you… :sunglasses: The only pinging of bullets Conor has is with Vin Diesel on his tv. Most of the British casualties we sustained in Cyprus where I spent a couple of years was the lads weapons going off accidently by tripping over guy ropes in the dark. I don´t think there´s ever been civilian drivers in normal street trucks driving convoy behind enemy lines before Iraq. So saying that you´re only alive when you hear the ping of bullets is sad departure from reality. But if you have seen Conors dismal snaps of ´Where am I ´ I suppose that a quick death would have its atraction for him, poor man.

Here´s a tip from me about posting on any forum. Always try to base your stories on truth and fact. Because,in my experience people will give you enough rope to go nuclear on you.“Don´t critisize what you don´t understand.Cos the times are gradually changing.” Bob Dylan.
