I do remember maikng a point of NOT shaking anyone’s hand though. How true the hand shaking hand rumour is I can only guess at.

Pardon my ignorance, but what rumour is this??

Left hand, certain culture’s, don’t shake hands because they wipe there bottom with it, and it’s classed as un-clean to shake another person’s hand as it might have there dirt on it

Oh right, never heard of that before  Every day’s a schoolday

It wasn’t all that unusual, around 20 to 30 years ago,to see Iranian trucks knocking about.I recall them asScania 140/141 tractor units.I seem to remember them with 24" wheels too.As mentioned above,it is remarkable how well different nationalities used to get on together without a common language. That’s before you swallow all the politicians’ and media spiel.

Toprun featured this guy Nasser Abassi in April 2009 on a trip Iran to UK, lots of good photos at toprun.ch and search the 2009 events.

Heard the expression for left handed people as being “kack handed”?

Also heard summat about the name for the colour of the uniform of the British Army?

Be sure its actually him though…strange how he appeared in the thread the same day after the OP mentioned it, would an Iranian driver really be surfing trucknet the very same day and introduce himself?
This multiple account thing has made many people suspicious of ‘new’ members.

What ? Surfing the net on the morning of… who joined a few minutes before making a first post…

On April 1st…

Same day■■? September you need more education English man

Now, Now.
You, “nasser1352”, joined on 1st April 2018 and you made your first post that same morning.
I made no mention of same day in my post.
No need for further “red herrings” after the “jour de poisson”!

The reason I joined is accidentally I saw there is a post and talking about me been uk iran driver for long time you can see my photo on toprun.ch or my face book aria nasser

Some nice pictures on there. Is there another company doing Middle East/UK at the moment,or in the last few years? Great respect to you for managing to repeatedly carry out this journey these days.

All seems genuine to me…keep up the good work Nasser and post some stories of the modern run if poss.
