What took them so long to retaliate and then they go on the news and announced they launched and it takes hours for the drones to arrive
Am i missing something here why would you do that

If not who knows what the response will be.It’s probably all connected with Russia and China orchestrating behind the scenes as a diversion and side show for the main event and in the hope of tying up US forces in the Middle East.
The defence of Israel is becoming unsustainable ideally needs evacuation to the US.Then see where it leads.
I think there’s quite a bit you might not have considered there: Iran didn’t respond immediately because (a) they needed to put their heads together and see what they could “get away with” without gigantically escalating the situation, (b) probably needed to mobilize their units, (c) also probably need to talk to their axis mates and make sure they weren’t going to upset any of those players unnecessarily.
Running an evil empire might look like it’s all fun and games, but to do it well means there’s a lot of behind-the-scenes work that needs to be done. This is the difference between having to top yourself (Hitler in his bunker), being unceremoniously strung up with no dignity (Saddam Hussein), or dying in your own private quarters of (mostly self-inflicted) natural causes caused by an unhealthy lifestyle (Joe Stalin).
As far as I can see from the various news outlets, Iran did not announce the strike before it was launched, they just threatened (in the time leading up to it) that they were going to attack.
There are several obvious reasons for them to do this: One being so they can be seen by the other players in the middle-east to not be taking it lying down: Apparently (according to some knowledgeable characters on R4 yesterday) Iran has been “getting some grief” from the more crazy “actors” in that region (Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthi rebels et al) for not being as aggressive as the crazies would like.
Second is Iran being a bit smarter than those others; they having a whole country to think of, with more serious ambitions and international standing, rather than just being on-the-fringes whackos. Personally, I suspect Iran did not want a massive loss of civilian life, and by their “sabre-rattling” gave Israel and it’s allies time to get switched on and for Israel to get prepared to defend themselves.
It’s like the difference between two brawlers going at it in a car park, and a world championship boxing match being televised to the world.
Don’t think they get more crazy than the Islamic Iranian Revolutionary Guard.
Events are definitely being run and choreographed by the Kremlin and Beijing probably to a strict timetable and plan.
At the end of the day China sees everything as either
a food mayerials source or a fuel source for itself.It probably doesn’t want to see the Middle East sand pit turned into irradiated glass or Europe’s agricultural resources turned into an irradiated desert or its western slave labour force wiped out.
While America is busy with events at home as usual.
Which is probably why the Israeli air force isn’t right now bombing Iran back to the stone age.While a joint Iranian Arab land force is gathering in Iraq to invade Israel.

Can’t believe how many think that Iran is on the side of good and the free world in the Middle East.Or maybe it’s just the enemy within.
It’s a strange world and it changes so quickly
Even today most Americans haven’t a clue what their next door neighbour state is called never mind where afghanistan is or iraq or iran and yet they interfere in places that don’t make sense
20 years in afghanistan 300 million dollars a DAY for 20 years and they walk away to leave it worse before they entered it, all to get one man and they didn’t even catch him in that country
It all started with communism if someone can explain Vietnam or north korea as to why and for what i would love to hear it and don’t tell me it was to save the people, it was not
Then it became apparent in the latter stages it was all about resources OIL and you can understand that share and share alike and if in danger then protect
Now another thing, isn’t it strange that if you go by the normal news you would be led to believe that Russia very very seldom goes out of its own region to protect itself, loosely based, or china as well
All these so called super power nations and we are all supposed to be so afraid they will fight with each other and the world will end if they do
Fact they have never ever fought each other as in war and never will
Also how and where does America get the money from to fund all the interfering they do around the world
There is no way in a million years that it’s from governments taxes, it could not be possible they have to be printing money as and when they need it for themselves, after all most of it goes overseas so it doesn’t interfere with their economy
The middle east will always be the middle east and that’s always going to be problematic
You’re saying that Russian and Chinese backed Communism wasn’t the aggressor in the Korean and Vietnam wars ?.
With plenty of other involvement in the Middle East obviously with the intention of cutting our oil supplies and typical Socialist anti semitism to wipe out Israel.
While you’re also saying that America wasn’t the same force for good in all those cases that it was in the case of WW2 against Hitler ?.Why assuming you’re not a Communist ?.
Iran and it’s Russian and Chinese allies aren’t the good guys here.Everything else is how to deal with them without actually going to mutually assured destruction if we can avoid it.Korea and Vietnam were two examples of that.Dont understand NATOs position on Ukraine in that.
Oh and the only oil benefit of the Iraq wars has been for China just like our trade policies.Thats the weird bit.
