Hi, a bit off topic I know but just after some advice, next month I’ve got to go to Battersea from ipswich in my car, what route in London would you advise?
Any idea what time of day youl be hitting the smoke.
when i go from Bury St Eds to Battersea Power Station, i go down M11 onto North Circular, off straight away onto A12, down thru Blackwall Tunnel, right onto A2 Shooters Hill Road, at the A202/A2 split, go straight on onto A202 (it gets quieter once you get onto the A202), past Peckham, Camberwell, past The Oval, left onto South Lambeth Road, bear right onto Parry Street, onto A3205 Nine Elms Lane. It is’nt as daunting as you think, and as i said earlier, once you are off the A2, it is reasonably quiet.
It will be on a sat morning, leaving ips approx 8-9am

A12,M25,A13,Limehouse link tunnels, Wapping Highway,past tower of London onto Lower Thames Street, over Southwark bridge turn right and follow past Blackfriars, Waterloo & Vauxhall one way system onto Battersea Rd down past Nine Elms and New Covent Garden.
Easy run mate. We sometimes do it nine or ten times a week at all times of day. No probs.
