ip address?

hi
run a dos session and then run ipconfig/all within the dos session ip /subnet mask etc will be seen from this.(should work with xp)

Can anyone tell me how to find myI.p.addresds in win xp? i used to type winipcfg in me but it dont work in xp??.

Open the Run box (Windows key and R) and type CMD then in the window that opens type ipconfig. If you want more info type ipconfig /all.

or aonther way is too right click on the 2 little pc icons by the clock, click status then support and your have it there,

If you havent got them 2 pc icons down by the clock and you want them there, just got to network connections properties, then properties and check the box that says, show icon in notification area when connected.
